Keratin Smoothing Treatment

There are 2 treatments to choose from, the most common being the Control Service. This is the perfect treatment for all hair types and will reduce frizz and leave it smooth and more manageable than ever. You can also choose the Refinement Service for improved manageability with the natural movement or curl of your hair, drastically reducing surface frizz.

Both treatment types are charged at the same rates as they use the same amount of product and take the same amount of time. The Control Service is stronger and the result is more drastic, and the Refinement Service is slightly less defined.

This treatment takes upwards of 3 hours to perform and we must take our time to get you the very best results. The best part of this is that you get to spend your time with us in at the beautiful Blow Out Style & Bar. You can sit comfortably up at the bar, plug your lap top in, connect to our wifi and carry on “working from home”, there is no need to waste half of your day at the salon. You can also enjoy barista made coffee or carefully shaken cocktails, as well as have something to eat while you are here. This is multitasking at it’s best.

Short from $375. Short hair is above the jawline and will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Medium from $400. Medium hair is above the shoulder and will take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Long from $450. Long hair is above the bra strap and will take approximately 3 hours.

Extra Long from $500. Extra Long hair is below the bra strap and will take approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Please allow additional time for your first visit as we can not accurately gauge exactly how much time will be required for each individual hair type and length. 

We aim to provide each of our clients the absolute best outcome that we can, and we do not want to skimp on the amount of product we use or the time that we take with you. We will not know exactly how much product your hair will need until the treatments starts and we can assess what your hair needs to achieve the best result. This is also true of the exact amount of time that will be required from our stylists to achieve that best result as well. If we do need more product or time you will be charged at $13 per additional 10ml of Keratin Treatment fluid, and $30 per 15 minutes of additional time required.

We strongly recommend you use Kerasilk shampoo and conditioner to optimize the longevity of your treatment. These Kerasilk products have all been developed with this smoothing treatment in mind, and they all contain the Biomimetic Silk to carry on adding to your hair as you wash and condition it yourself.
